Points to understand before completing prakruti analysis.
Your natural constitution (Prakriti) never changes, it is your birth imprint, but your (Vikruti) imbalances occurs and does change according to your lifestyle condition and experience.
For prakruti analysis, answer questions with honesty and focus on long-standing traits rather than temporary or recent changes. Reflect on consistent patterns in physical features, mental tendencies, energy levels, digestion, and emotional responses that have remained stable since childhood. Caution should be taken to avoid letting current imbalances (vikruti)—like stress, recent dietary changes, or lifestyle shifts—skew the answers, as this may lead to an inaccurate assessment of your true constitution.
For example:
When asked about body structure in prakruti analysis, focus on your natural build over the years rather than recent changes. For instance, if you’ve always had a lean, slender frame with visible joints (a Vata trait), but recently gained weight due to lifestyle or dietary changes, describe your body based on its usual, long-term build. This will better reflect your true prakruti rather than a temporary shift.
